Absolutely not. If you already email Bob to schedule a demo when you have a new product coming out, or you're looking to be covered by our news coverage, nothing is changing.

This program is 100% voluntarily, and purely designed to allow us to maintain the newsroom as a free resource for both the vendors we write about and the legal professionals in our audience.

We're going more for the Pro Publica journalism model, or the Patreon supporter model, but essentially, yes.

Our reduced rates are offered in exchange for the expectation that you will be able to provide annual, recurring support.

The predictability this gives us supports us immensely.

While some parts of the membership are available to an entire company, such as the PR feed, most of the package is priced around singular products.

Companies with multiple products are eligible for a central Company Listing page, and can add on their additional products at a reduced rate.

No. You make divide payments into quarterly, biannual, or annual payments.

You can. If you already purchased any of the services included in the membership tier you'd like to join, we will discount your first year's membership by their value.

First of all, we give you the right to keep and use the content we make for you in your own materials.

If you cancel your membership before your renewal deadline, we will continue to host any evergreen content, such as press releases.

In order to keep our content up to date and relevant, we may remove your product demo videos and elements of your product listing if we can not confirm they are still accurate

We will remake your videos every year to keep them up to date, if necessary. If you need to replace your content within a single year, you may do so for a very small fee.

If you haven't made any substantial changes to your product in the last year, you are able to use your annual production credits for additional product demos, with the understanding that all How it Works content must remain up to date in subsequent years in order to stay hosted on our platforms.

Some engagements, such as our How it Works demos, can still be purchased a la carte from our media kit. Others, such as product briefings, are only available through the membership program.

If you are a member looking to add on extra engagements for second products, you can buy additional individual engagements at a discounted members rate, or double your membership tier for substantially larger savings. The discount percentage depends on the tier.

Our intention with the membership program is to be able to reduce the amount of advertising we put on our newsletters and websites.

We do still offer podcast sponsorships and display ads on our websites and newsletters, but we have reduced our inventory significantly.
